The “VP-QX” screw flat face coupling series is the technological solution to demanding hydraulic applications in corrosive environments. The screw connection system eliminates premature wear and the “brinelling” caused by a mechanical locking ball system. The triple valve system allows connection of the coupling safely even in presence of high internal residual pressure and at the same time avoiding fluid loss. In addition to all the winning features of VP-P quick coupling, the VP-QX offers superior resistance in corrosive environments thanks to the special materials and treatment used.
- Special Stucchi solution for hydraulic fluid power application where is required a superior resistance in certain corrosive environment.
- Products manufactured in carbon steel and treated with special nitriding and oxidation QPQ treatment.
- External parts in contact with oil (male and female flat face valve) in stainless steel AISI316 to be corrosion resistant.
- Internal components in carbon steel with CR3 zinc plating to be suitable for hydraulic oil media.
- In corrosive environments, QPQ has to be maintained as required.
- This series add the benefit of VP-P series to the special design of the surface (QPQ with AISI).
- Easy connection/disconnection with both side under residual pressure thanks to the Stucchi design.
